Dr. Jason Brock grew up outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Although his father was a dentist, he decided to study film-making in college and explore his passion for the arts. After earning a Master of Fine Arts in film production and spending five years in Hollywood, he decided to pursue a career that would allow him to make a positive difference in people’s lives. He attended the New York University School of Dentistry where he received the prestigious NYU Award for Ethics. During dental school, he was active in many organizations including the American Student Dental Association, and he was a founding member of the NYU Peer Review Board. Dr. Brock completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at UT Houston School of Dentistry and he feels blessed to call Houston his home.
As an active member of his local and global community, Dr. Brock enjoys giving back whenever he can, from teaching Sunday School to attending dental outreaches in countries like Grenada. Dr. Brock has also served in roles of organized dentistry as a part of the Greater Houston Dental Society. He is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Brock earned his board certification in 2015 and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the needs of his patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Brock loves spending time with his wife, Karen, and their son, Theo. Together, they share their home with their Tibetan Terrier, Willow. On the weekends, Dr. Brock and his family enjoy attending church, playing golf, riding bikes, cooking, and watching movies and ice hockey games. Dr. Brock also loves watching the Astros, Steelers, and Penguins play.
